On Sunday mornings from 9:30-11:00, we gather in the inspiring confines of 22 Willow. Before you walk through the doors, though, you may want to know where to park, so check out these maps of the building and property so you can find your way around. When you arrive, you will be handed a paper program which will provide an outline of the service and give you a sense of some of the things we have going on in our community. The first hour includes worship through music, some brief announcements, and a message from one of our pastors. Just before the message begins, we invite children to make their way to the front where we pray for them before they head off to their Kids’ Quest classes. For detailed information on our children’s gatherings, please check out the Kids’ Quest page on the right. From there, we head into the Gym for refreshments and a half-hour of discussion around tables. You don’t have to participate, but we think it’s a really key part of exploring faith together. At 11:00, we wrap up and the rest of the day is yours! We realize it’s a big deal for someone to show up at a new church, so we do our best to keep things casual and make visitors feel welcome right from the start. Hope to see you soon…
Parents and caregivers have an opportunity to be the primary spiritual leaders in a child’s life. With this in mind, it’s our desire to partner with families by providing biblical teaching in a loving and caring environment on Sunday mornings, helping children learn how to love God with their whole heart, and encouraging them to serve Christ faithfully. Together, we can inspire children to live out what they learn on Sunday mornings and develop a lifelong relationship with Jesus.
At 10:00, all children JK through Gr. 5 who are in the main service will be invited to the front to be prayed for as a group before heading upstairs for classes in our Children’s Wing until 11:00.
JK-SK (Room 2)
Gr. 1-2 (Room 5)
Gr. 3-5 (Room 11/12)
Children in Grade 2 and under must be signed in and out by their parent or caregiver. (Sign in books are located in the front foyer before the service and in the classrooms at pick up time.)
Each week, children are taught a lesson based on the Bible and accompanied by crafts, games, and a snack. There are at least two volunteers for each Sunday school class.
Our Nursery is open at 9:30 and will be supervised from 10:00 – 11:00. This environment is intended for children under 18 months.
Please ensure that your child is not in need of a diaper change when you drop them off as it is against our policy to change diapers. If parental assistance is required mid-service, you will be contacted via text message or an onscreen page.
Our Toddler room, located upstairs in Room 16, is supervised from 9:30 – 11:00 and is intended for children between 2-3 years old.
The Junior High class (Gr. 6-8) is led by our Youth leaders each Sunday between 10:30 and 11:00, during the discussion time. They meet in the Upper Room (top of the main set of stairs).
We are always looking for volunteers, so if you are interested in serving in the Toddler Room or in a Sunday morning classroom, please contact: email@example.com
We have a very thorough screening process for our Children’s Ministry volunteers. Volunteers must have attended Elevation for a minimum of six months and are required to submit a detailed application that includes three references, a brief interview, and a recent criminal record check. Volunteers must read our Plan to Protect policy and attend annual refresher training workshops.
We have a severe peanut allergy in our congregation and would ask that you and your children avoid eating breakfasts that contain peanuts on Sunday mornings. If your child has an allergy, please let us so that we can take the necessary steps to ensure that we keep your child safe.
Our Playgroup meets weekly, Tuesday mornings from 9:30 – noon in the Gym at 22 Willow, and allows parents to find support in a community that is experiencing the same joys and challenges of parenthood. Children ranging in age from newborns to Kindergarten have the opportunity for free play and, on occasion, more structured activities.
