Holy Week 2021

This year, there are a number of opportunities for our Elevation community to engage in meaningful reflection during Holy Week:

Stations of the Cross

Our annual tradition will take on a new form this year with an outdoor art installation along the Spur Line Trail adjacent to 22 Willow. We invite you to come and walk the Stations (practicing physical distancing) and view Scott Erickson’s depiction of the events leading up to Easter Sunday. The installation will be up through Easter Sunday. You can read our message to the community and access a virtual option of the Stations here.

Good Friday

On Friday morning, Melodie will be sending out an email to all parents with a link to a Good Friday video for children. To help you plan ahead, families will be invited to participate in a foot-washing experience at the end of the service as a way for kids to reflect on Jesus’ parting words to his followers to serve one another.

Those who would like to spend quiet time reflecting on the Stations of the Cross are invited to view a 25-minute video and musical arrangement which can be accessed here.

At 8:00pm, our Elevation community will gather online on Facebook Live for an hour of music, meditation, and reflection around the crucifixion. Please have communion elements ready to share together.

Easter Sunday

We will gather together at 10:00am on Facebook Live for our Easter Sunday service. Please plan to arrive early so we can all join in the celebration together!
