Journey for Justice 2024

We are excited to invite you to our annual fundraising event on October 5, 2024! This year, we’ve made a significant change by organizing our own event, Journey for Justice. Please note that this year, we’ve made the decision to produce our own fundraiser in place of our past involvement with Ride for Refuge. The obstacles to continuing with Blue Sea and R4R have grown each year, and they take a 30% cut of the funds we raised. We felt it was time to move on and be able to put 100% of the funds raised toward charity.
Schedule of Events on October 5, 2024
- 09:00 – Check In
- 09:30 – Ride & Walk Starts
- 11:00 – Snacks & Mingle
- 12:00 – Dismissal
Some Useful information:

- We will not serve a meal, but snacks will be provided!
- We will have group leaders with route maps (there won’t be route signage this year)
- There will be a trail walk option along the Iron Horse Trail
- You are welcome to come cheer on the team if you’re not walking or riding!

- Journey Elevation
- Compass Refugee Centre
- Sanctuary Refugee Health Centre (as needed)
- KW Multicultural Centre – Refugee Services
